The Trivection oven is a Convection microwave created by General Electric, which combines heat, convection and microwaves for customized cooking. According to GE, it cooks food five times faster than a traditional oven.

The product is notable mainly for being prominently featured in the pilot of the American situation comedy 30 Rock, where the character of Jack Donaghy (played by Alec Baldwin) describes the product, claiming to have invented it himself and pegging it as his "greatest triumph" after years and years of market research. Jack Donaghy\'s description of the product is taken near verbatim from GE’s website. He later uses the oven as a metaphor for The Girlie Show, saying that Tracy Jordan (Tracy Morgan) is the "third heat."

The Trivection oven’s inclusion in the show was widely seen as an example of product placement, especially since the same product was later advertised during the commercial break.Great Moments In Shitergy: \'30 Rock\' And The G.E.
